Honey Hut Identity

Honey Hut makes homemade ice cream in small batches sweetened with local Ohio honey. Honey Hut's new identity is a call out to their homemade honey-based ice cream recipe.

Fun icons and typography match the bright summer inspired colors created for this branding. Collateral for this project includes ice cream packaging, collectable Bowl of the Month program, secondary product concepts, rewards program, website, email, business cards, invoices and mailing labels.

Taco Tantos Branding

Taco Tantos makes the best burritos in town! Grilled to order and endlessly customizable, these burritos needed a cohesive branding with a easy to read menu. With over 50 individual items and almost 40 ingredient add-ons, they needed a walk-up menu board that is organized, easy to understand, and can be skimmed for content in seconds.

Collateral includes wood board menu, takeout menu, salsa wrappers, tray liners, and chip bag with labels.

Passport Planner

In 2015, I applied for a travel scholarship to visit Japan to see art, typography, and illustration. I had never been on a plane or planned a travel itinerary before this trip, so I knew how daunting it could be planning a solo trip!

When I came back, I gave a lecture about my experiences and created this travel planner to hand out to students encouraging them to apply for travel grants and be inspired by other cultures. I also made souvenir stickers and a passport sized coloring page for on-flight fun!

Wild Cards Packaging

I created these themed sets of greeting cards from some unused illustrations I had. Instead of selling each card individually, I wanted them to be a gift set so I designed packaging to make them feel more special and explain what came in each of the sets.

I made one Wild Card set berry themed and the other set fox themed each with three different cards for different occasions.

Autumn Wedding Invitations

These wine and sage invites were designed for my good friend's fall wedding and inspired by their woodland wedding venue in the Cuyahoga Valley National Parks.

EXL Student Center

The EXL Center is an experiential learning center that promotes entrepreneurship opportunities between the University of Akron and the businesses that surround it.

These murals and banners are designed to surround the Student Union where the EXL Center is located. The murals and icons were created to represent the core goals of the center while being engaging to students passing by on their way to class.

Race of Gentleman

Every year The Oilers Car Club hosts The Race of Gentlemen as a multi-day celebration and 1/8 mile race on the beaches of Wildwood, NJ.

I created the club's branding in the style of old school, distressed logos referencing the early days of racing, complete with chromeographic car-emblem inspired typography and a race-ready oil mascot, while the branding for the race itself references 1960s grindhouse film posters.

E-Cycling Campaign

This design for good project was created to bring attention to the amount of toxic waste created by improperly disposed of electronics.

I combined bold copy with illustrations of iconic older phones that informed consumers about recycling electronics. Characters were designed to look like many of the old cellphones people may still have in an old drawer somewhere: water-damaged, outdated, cracked and battery-drained.
